Java script is not active for PNG

Hello, guys!

 

I have very good animation with well-working interactive parts.

All the things work well, but I can not fix one problem. I want to use .png in HTML5 technology as symbol (pb or movie clip) with JS.

As soon as i put any graphics to already working vector Pb (with working code) it stops be active at all.

I can't press it and all of my animations stops. Code works perfectly only if I use vector graphics. As soon as I add even .png dot - stop working.

 

For .swf file with AS3 it works perfect - no problems.

 

So, can you tell me what's the problem?

How can I add JS to symbol with .png and force it to work well?

I don't want use vector graphics as it decreases FPS significantly, I need to create .png animation (let MC move one side by click and other side by another click).

Hi,

 

First of all, I have just started Animate CC a few days ago. I am trying to do some animation I thought I would be easy to achieve but I am banging my head against wall for a long tile without success.

I also looked at every single tutorial and in this forum without much luck. So I am here desperate looking for your help.

If you have any online tutorial you think could explain it all to me, feel free to pointy me to it because I couldn't find any.

 

Ok, so all I am trying to achieve is some items (files icons) to move on top of a carousel (such as airports's).

 

I can get to move the items from left to right and even get them to loop but I never get a smooth result where files would move for ever.

What is the best approach here to get a smooth looping set of symbols to move from left to right and looping ?

 

Here is the file I am working with. I hope it can help understanding what I am doing wrong.

Bonjour tout le monde !

J'aimerai créer un dessin animé dans le style de la serie francaise wakfu (montré sur l'image). Je ne connais pas réellement les outils adobe. Je voudrais savoir si l'outil animate CC pouvait réaliser tout cela ou si il faut se munir de tous les outils créative cloud pour arriver à ce résultat. D'ailleurs le logiciel est-il dans créative cloud ?Le logiciels est il difficile à utiliser ?

Je suppose qu'un logiciel d'aide au 3D est nécessaire pour arriver à un tel résultat. lequel est-ce ?

Write a file in execution (Save game)

Hello , I want to save variables during the execution of the program (.exe) done with Animate in version 18.0.1, in order to save the game locally (offline) the progress of the player, but I do not know how to write file is it even possible ?

Can you teach me or enlighten me on how to create a game save with Animate ?

Hi All,

 

I have added the following to the default exported content from animate in order to greatly speedup content pre-loading: PreloadJS API

loader.setMaxConnections(10);

loader.maintainScriptOrder = true;

The problem i have is that the "handleComplete" triggers before all the content has been downloaded. ( This problem gets worse when you emulate a slow network connection ) So the animate content starts even though its still downloading required images.

 

There are a few ways of doing this, but require overriding the way the default animate handleComplete ( see bellow ) works.

loader.addEventListener("complete", function(evt){handleComplete(evt,comp)});

As in adding array/loop that adds .complete / .onload to the images in the manifest and then overrides the complete function once they have all downloaded.

 

Edit: Possibly within animate:

this.stop on frame 1.....create another "EventListener", detect once all library/stage elements are loaded....this.play....

Can't get the local videos in html

SWF and EXE document can get the local videos and play them,but HTML can't.

I have put all videos,fla,swf,html in a same document but when open html ,FLV player has a green bar and can't find the videos

I am writing a processing tool in JSFL. This script will open an FLA file. However one issue I have encountered is the dreaded

 

[WARNING] The target version of Adobe AIR SDK "AdobeAIR23_0" is not available. The target will be set to the closest available version."

 

It does not appear that I have a way through JSFL to dismiss this. So my work around plan is to first convert the file to XFL and then modify the value.

 

However, that being said, is there either a way to discover what the latest version is or a string which represents the latest version?

 

I want this tool to be automated.

Bone Tool not showing purple connection lines?

So, I'm using the bone tool to connect movie clip instances, but as I drag the bone tool from what I want as the root bone to an arm, Animate is not showing the purple lines that connect each bone to each other? In all the tutorials I've watched you can see the various symbols that Animate uses such as the circle with red diamond indicating the first or root bone. It seems there should be some kind of preview or view I'm not finding???

In canvas document, I create a dynamic text. I copy a text from somewhere and paste in dynamic text. İf dynamicText's font is Arial test or publish not work and gives An unexpected error occurred during export. [JSX] error. If I change font it works. Are there anybody who knows this problem? Can you help me?

Camtasia Subtitle export to play subtitles under video in Animate

Question about bringing in a Camtasia Video to play a video on the stage.  The above were all the bits that exported with a captioned export from Camtasia where the captioning should play under the video.  If I place the video on the stage in Animate, is there a way to show the captions under the video using any of the code produced with this export?  In the scripts folder are two .js files.  I think this is designed to play separately, but I would like to play it on my stage which is sized bigger than the video.  If any of this makes sense, perhaps you know where I'm going.  I'll accept NOT possible, but I'm hoping it is.

Adobe Flash CC - Motion Editor is still missing - yes, I know it´s been integrated in the timeline

Hi. I earlier used Flash CS5 but now I use Flash Professional CC due to faulty video export in CS5. Anyhow: Motion Editor now missing, this has been included directly in the timeline, I know.

My problem is that i can't open the Motion Editor panel. I create a movie clip, create the motion tween, select the span and double click. Nothing happens. I try to right click the span, but the option "Refine Tween" simply isn't there... Please help!

So I have the newest version of flash (Adobe Animate CC 2017), and with it I have been getting this on alot of my animations. Whenever I'm trying to open up a file, it shows that I have an error which has occurred. How do I solve this problem? Are my files doomed?

Zooming and panning map in Animate CC movie html5 to Canvas

I need to create zoom and pan controls in an Adobe Animate CC movie html5 to Canvas (using .js) that operate similar to the controls that you see in Google Maps.

 

I have one layer with a movie symbol containing a vector map. In another layer I have the up, down, left, right, +, - buttons. I want to be able that on clicking the buttons the map pans around and zooms in and out.

 

Does anyone know which code I can use to do this using Adobe Animate CC?

Any examples or tutorials?

Snapping toggle hotkey needed

If I draw with the line tool, I very often want to snap one end of the line to a previously drawn line but not snap the other end. If I have snapping on the whole time, the end-point of my line often snaps to the wrong part of my drawing. If I have it off, I'll have to go back after I draw all the lines and stitch end points back together with the move tool. The best I can do currently is turn snapping on and zoom in close to my art all the time so I don't accidentally snap to everything else I've drawn.

 

Another time I need to switch frequently between snapping on and off, is when I relocate the end-points of lines while fine-tuning part of a drawing.

 

If the Move/Arrow tool and Line tool had a key on the keyboard that would turn snapping on while it was pressed, and off while it was unpressed, it would be so useful and speed up my work greatly.

 

Does a hotkey like this exist?

If not, can I get Adobe to implement this feature?

Parblo Coast 10 setup

I'm having trouble setting up my parblo c10 tablet. I can't even call or go to the forums themselves because there isnt an actual community FAQ or help line. Anyways, i cant get windows to show up on my tablet. I set up calibration, i made sure it was set to monitor 2, but still nothing.

Surface Pro 4 and Animate CC Drawing lag

Hey, I just picked up a Surface Pro 4 (i5, 265GB model) and I've been noticing issues with drawing in Animate CC. It works great on my main setup (iMac with 21UX Cintiq), but I can't seem to draw too fast or I get straight lines/lag in my brush strokes. Did anyone find a solution to this? Toon Boom Storyboard Pro draws fine, but Photoshop has a similar issue, so it seems to be some problem between Adobe apps and the Surface drawing interface.

 

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Audio in Animate

For some reason, whenever I import audio into Animate it comes in as if nothing is there. I have listen to the audio files and they do have sound. They are in .wav an no longer than 20 seconds. I am in an HTML set up and have tried importing it by drag and drop onto the stage and importing it into it also. What am I missing?

Hi, I'm not English, I'm Italian so I can't speak English very well. I have a problem with the duration of my file audio. For example I have a file audio of 2:20 minutes. When I import it on the time line it lasts 2 minutes! Why it happens?
