Hello all,
I'm trying to create a 30-minute animation, to run alongside a lecture. I have a drawing and I want certain areas to slowly appear bit-by-bit.
I'm considering trying to do this all in Flash, but I'm concerned that Flash animation tools are too basic to create this effect? I was able to create a layer mask and have a simple circle grow, but I need to have more complicated shapes in my layer mask so that I can make certain areas of the drawings to appear first, eg. a hand.
I can see that there is a brush tool which gives me more control, but I don't seem able to tween these kind of frames - I assume that only vector shapes (objects?) can be tweened? I want to use tween frames so that there is a gradual fade-in effect (I can do this in Photoshop, by making a frame animation in the Photoshop timeline, but obviously 30 minutes is going to be far too long for an animated gif).
I wondered what someone would suggest is the best way to create complex shapes in Flash which can be tweened using a layer mask?
I hope this makes sense,
Thanks.
