I'm trying to install Flash as a separate program, because of a problem with Quickbooks 2010 ("QB"). First, the QB issue: When installing QB, an error message says that Flash Player wouldn't install, which terminates the setup. There is a workaround for QB, which allows it to install without Flash Player. But then QB won't open, probably because it cannot find Flash Player. So I'm trying to install Flash as a separate program, but Adobe won't let me. It finds Flash as an integrated component of Internet Explorer and terminates the download, saying that I don't need Flash Player! Is there any way to override this sequence and install Flash as a separate program (which hopefully will allow QB to see it)?
