On every machine I've tried, and every machine around the office (30+ stations), playback when playing on the timeline in Flash CC and Flash CC 2014 is slightly slower than all previous versions of Flash we've worked with. CS6, for example, is more accurate.
The slowdown appears to be the same regardless of the machine's power. My i7, 16gb ram, Geforce 660ti machine, for example, plays back at the exact same rate is my Cintiq Companion. The issue is the same regardless of what version of Windows we're using (Windows 7, 8.0, and 8.1 have been tried).
Playback is fine when published as a SWF or after we export an MOV. But our animators need to be able to view the correct timing of their files on the timeline to do their job. Is there a known fix? Or does this need to be patched?
