There have been a few times where I open up the application, and my preferences have been reset. Preferences like:
- Work space Setting
- Keyboard Shortcuts
- Mapped fonts.
Before anyone suggests I ditch CS6 and move to CC, the device that I design for only recognizes Actionscript 2, not Actionscript 3. Don't ask me why, I'm not that technical, but CC doesn't support AS2.
In terms of issues this problem causes, it's fairly minimal. It is very annoying, however, to reset my font mapping, as many of the files I deal with were made several years ago and the original designer did not embed the fonts into the library, and some font names are spelled differently on my system than on theirs.
Does anyone know what is causing this arbitrary reset?
