Extract text from .fla file.

After I've tried Adobe Flash CS4 I cannot open my .fla anymore. I've read many places (from Google) that I'm not the only one having the problem.

My problem is that I cannot wait for a fix and therefor need to extract all my text from my .fla file now.
How is this possible? I also have the "compiled" .swf file, but would imagine it will be easier from the original .fla file.

Any help as soon as possible is very much appriciated.
